The city’s premier charter company, Charleston Sailing Charter, rents out two exceptional yachts named Fate and Mystique, which are 2007 and 2008 Beneteaus, respectively. They are on TripAdvisor’s list of the top ten water tours in Charleston, for good reason. Whether you’re looking to relax, host an event, go on a date, explore the seas, or more, Charleston Sailing Charter has you covered.

These meticulously crafted vessels both embody nautical elegance and opulence. They have been extensively modernized since they were first built, though they retain that old-school charm. Both feature two bedrooms, a full kitchen, two full bathrooms, and space for up to six guests and two crew members. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the fridge is stocked with water and soft drinks. Moreover, the top deck is full of seating and spots perfect for soaking in the views and the sun.

All of Charleston Sailing Charter’s boats are BYOB and food, though they will connect you with a catering service — Caviar & Bananas — if necessary. Besides Fate and Mystique, they also own a larger party boat, the yacht Kismet, if you are chartering a boat for more than six people.

If you need a photographer or other considerations for a special event, Charleston SAiling Charter is more than happy to accommodate your request.

One of the best parts of chartering a private yacht is that it can be a completely bespoke experience. The classic two-hour trip will take you out in the harbor past Fort Sumter and back while passing by iconic Charleston landmarks like The Battery, the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, Waterfront Park, and more. Additional time means more trips around the harbor, or perhaps a journey further out — it’s all up to you.

To book this unique experience, head to the Live Calendar on Charleston Sailing Charter’s website where you can see what times and days are available, and on which yachts. Custom and overnight charters should be booked via email or phone, for which contact information can be found on the website.

Treat yourself right with a trip for you, your partner, family, or friends onboard Charleston Sailing Charter’s Fate or Mystique. Complete with professional staff, sweeping views, unforgettable luxury, and everything else that comes with a private yacht tour, chartering the Fate or the Mystique is sure to be one of the best decisions of your time in Charleston.

Located just a few minutes away from the harbor, The Pinch Hotel is the perfect place from which to explore Charleston.
